Ccbk fob Baldness. Frederick Kemp
writes from the silver mines of Montana to
lie Herald f Health, giving the following
Liut in reference to a cure for baldness : "A
friend of mine who had the misfortune to be
bald-head.!, knowing that there is a won
derful invigorating power in the gan'ii rays.
l;it spring threw awav his hat and worked
in the gulch, all pprinr, summer and fall,
bareheaded, and also fjr tlia first few days
et mi 1 d?y. For a few d&ys the rays cf the
Lot Eun on hid head were almost unendura
ble ; after that time h. experienced no un
easiness whatever. The result was that in
the fall he had a ood head of hair. Aud
in this experiment he was not alone sever
al i f his acquaintances who were bald-head-id
baviusr followed the same plan. They
were all fortunate enough to experience the
eamo result."
The editor adds that a similar ease once
came under his own observation, and pro
fesses to have no doubt that "the exposure
of the ehin to air and snn.shine, under pro
per circumstances, stimulates it to a healthy
Action, and with it those glands u-on which
the growth of tln-'hair depends." Lexington
