Take three pints or two quarts of milk ; scald to nearly boiling heat, and have six table ppoonsful of nicely sifted flour, braided as lor starch, with a little cold milk. Turn the scalding milk i n this, carefully stirring to prevent its settling. Beat three eggs and add, with sugar to the taste, and a mull piece of butter, and a little salt.
