Work has been resumed on the mag
nificent Roxuan Catholic Cathedral, on
Fifth avenue, New; York, projected by
Archbishop Hughes, the corner stone of
which was laid August 15, 1858. Its
extreme length will be 325 feet ; extreme
breadth, 174 feet ; general breadth, 132
feet. It is to cost $4,000,000.
