THE Board of Director* of the Emporium
Water Company, hereby give notice that a
special meeting of the Stockholders will be held
•t the office of tbt said Company, in Emporium,
Pennsylvania, on Thursday, the twenty-second
day or December, 1910, at 2 o'clock, p. m..for the
purpose of voting for or against the proposed in
crease of the capital stock of the said Company
from $60,000 to 112 100,000.

holders of said corporation will be held at the
general office of said company, in Emporium,
Pa., on the 6th day of December, 1910, at one
o'clock, P. M., to take action on the proposed In
crease of the capital stock of said corporation

dred and fifty thousand dollars.

Be it ordained and enacted by the Council of the
| Borough of Emporium, Penntylvania, and it U
hereby ordained and enacted by authority of
£ the tame.
Section 1. That the Street and Sewer Com
mittee of the Council of the Borough of Empori
um be authoriied and instructed to cause to be
laid and constructed a 24-inch surface drainage
sewer commencing at a point at or near the in
tersection of the north line of Third street and
the west line of Chestnut street; Thence crossing
Chestnut street along the north line of Third
street and continuing to the intersection of the
north line of Third street with the west line of
Walnut street; Thence southeasterly to a point
in the south line of Third Street about 494.77
feet from the southwest corner of Third and
Spruce streets; Thence continuing along the
south line of Third street to the southwest cor
ner of Third and Spruce streets; TheDCe con
tinuing crossing Spruce street along the south
line of Thi id street to Pine street and croesing
Pine street to a point at or near the southeast
corner of Third and Pine streets; Thence along
the east line ot Pine street to the right ot
way of the Philadelphia & Erie Railroad;
Tbeuce crossing the said Rtilroad to a point Id
the Mill Race about 20 feet southeasterly from
the boiler house of the Emporium Milling Com
pany.
Section 2. That the said Street and Sewer
Commr.tee be authoriied to enter Into a con
tract for the laying and constructing of the said
sewer at a lump sum or to enter into a contract
for the laying and constructing of the said sewer
for the actual cost of labor and material plus ten
per cent, or that they be authorised to have the
work performed by day labor as in their discre
tion seems best.
