MY DEAR SIR:-
I have your favor of the 2nd and thank you
very much for your kind invitation to be present
at the dedicatory services in your new place ol
worship. lam very glad indeed that you have
succeeded in spite of the prophecy of the peo

would give me pleasure to be with you on the
occasion of the dedication of this church, but 1
am so pressed with business that I fear that it is
impossible for me to leave at present. I think
however, that a check for $50.00 which I enclose
will be a good representative for me, and one
that will do more good for the cause tban I could
by being personally present.
I sincerely trust that you may be successful in
raising the required amount to pay off the debt,
and with best wishes for yourself, your family
and any friends in your community, I remain,
Yours very truly,
