Badly Sprained Ankle Cured.
Three years ago our daughter sprained
her ankle and had been suffering terribly
for two days and nights—had not slept a
minute. Mr. Stallings. of Butler, Tenn.,
told us ofChamberlain's Pain Balm. We
went to the store that night and got a
bottle of it and bathed her ankle two or
three times and she went to sleep and had
a good night's rest. The next moraing
she was much better and in a short time
could walk around and had no more
tioublc with her ankle.—E. M. Brumitt,

Cameron Fishing Party.
Mrs. Jas. Leonard and Mre. Lester,
of Cameron, started out on a fishing
expedition last Monday, bound for
Keating Summit. They were very
happy thinking of the nice mess of fish
they would have to take homo to their
happy husbands. But, as Mrs. Leon
ard's hook and line got tangled and
she said she never saw such fish, she
was unable to pull it out, and called
Mrs. Lester to help her pull it out.
Both pulled and landed a monster—
frog. They both returned to Empori
um at once and took dinner with Mrs.
Fred Logan, after which they departed
for their homes. 11.
RHEUMATIC FOLKS.
Are You Sure Your Kidneys Are Well?
Many rheumatic attacks are due to
uric acid i» the blood. But the duty
of the kidneys-is (•> rotnove all uric acid
from the blood. Its presence there shows
i the kidneys arc inactive.
Don't dally with "uric acid solvents."
! i'ou might goon lilt doomsday with
i thuiii, but until you cure the kidneys you
j will never get well. Doan's Kidney
\ Pills not only remove uriu acid, but cure
! the kidneys and then all danger from
| uric acid is ended. Here is an Empori-
I uui testimony to prove it.
Mrs. John Summerson. living on Wot
i Sixth Street, Emporium, Pa., says: '•!
i suffered with nagging backaches and
pains in my sides amid across my kid
neys for a long time, caused by a dis
ordered condition of my kidneys. I also
suffered with rheumatism in my limbs,
was languid and lacked ambition. I
used many remedies but could obtain no
relief. Finally I learned of Doan's Kid
ney Pills and procured a box from L.
Taggart, the druggist. This remedy gave
me relief from the backaches and pains,
regulated the kidneys and improved my
sreneral health. I obtained more relief
from thisjremcdy than L had liaped for in
so short a time. I am glad to recom
meud Doan's Kidney i'ills to other kid
ney sufferers."

No Need of Suffering From Rheuma
tism.
Ft is a mistake to allow rheumatism to
become chronic, as the pain can always
be relieved, and in most cases a cure ef
fected by applying Chamberlain's Pain
Balm. The relief from pain which it af
fords is alone worth many times it.s cost.
It makes sleep and rest possible. Even
in cases of long standing this liniment
should be used on account of the relief
which it affords. Do not be discouraged
until you have given it a trial. Many
sufferers have been surprised and delight
ed with its pain relieving qualities. 25
