One Cannot Forget.
The old man may not recall all the j
experiences, all the struggles and tri- !
umphs of his early manhood but every !
feature of his childhood home, everyl
little playhouse that he helped his sis- |
ter to build, is a photograph 011 his |
heart's tablet and can never fade away. |
Perhaps the golden light of eternity 1
will not dim the brightness of that J
picture. What else the heart may for- j
get, it cannot forget the place of its j
birth; it cannot forget the little broken j
cart, the sled and the kite, the sister's I
fond caress, the brother's generous j
aid, the father's council the mother's |
anxious prayer.—Ex.
