C>lcs on December Weather.
j Colm, the weather prophet, in his pre
dicting for December says that the
wealfier will bo rather changeable.
There will be many beautiful days,«but
wirter is liable to give us a surprise.
Regular storm conditions will prevail
at the opening of December. The pro
babilities are that rough wintery weath
er will prevail over many sections of
the country at this time also at and after
full moon on the 14th. Destructive
gales, blizzards, etc., both on land and
sea, may be expected. Continued, un
settled weather will develop during
the last quarter of the moon—2lst.
Many of the storms may vary from a
summer-like shower to a real winter
blizzard.
Watch the many beautiful sunset
scenes.
The Certainty of Advertising.
Advertising is a subtle science, so
subtle, in fact, that by most of the peo
ple it is regarded as more or less of a
game of chance. This is a mistake.
There is nothing in the world more cer
tainthan advertising if it is properly
done. You can make a failure in any
thing—any line of business—if you do
not go about it with a full understand
ing of its details, and careful attention
to them. Leave one single, little in
significant screw out of a locomotive,
and sooner or later there is going to Ins
a smashup. Whenever advertising
dosen't pay thero is a loose screw or a
lost one some place. Too many adver
tisers do not look beneath the surface.
—Carriage Dea[ers Journal.
This is the season of the year when the
prude nt and careful housewife replenishes
her supply of Chamberlain's
Remedy. It is certain to be needful be
fore the winter is over, and results are
much more prompt and satisfactory when
it is kept at hand and given as soon as the
cold is contracted and before it has be
come settled in the system. In almost
every instance a severe cold may be ward
ed oft by taking this remedy freely as soon
as the first, indication of the cold appears.
There is no danger in giving it to children
for it contains no harmful substance. It
is pleasant to take—both adults and chil
dren like it. Buy it and you will get the
best. It always cures Fur sale by L.
