The dry spell still "holds out faith

of logs needed badly at Barclay Bros.,
mills at Sinucmahoning and waiting for
water to drive them.
A good many of our citizens attended
the hospital fair at Austin last week and

The old Enterprise hotel has just put
on a suit of fresh paint and a new sign,
telling to the worid that the Enterprise
house is no more, but henceforth this
popular hotel will be known as the
"Mountain House." Yet notwith
standing this outward appearance of
gaiety and good cheer, an air of gloom
and sadness prevails within, since the
death of his sable Majesty, Baley's pet
crow. Yes poor "Joe" is dead. Oscar
says some one hit him with a stone and
liis sweet young life went out 'ere he
had reached the zenith of his glory and
usefullness, despite the tender care of
a sorrowing household. Joe Logue
refuses to be confronted over the loss
of his beloved namesake. They looked
so much alike and as the autumn winds
are sighing a sad and sorrowful re

seen coursing down his classic features
and his manly bosom heaving with the
pent-up emotions within.
Discovered by a Woman.
Another great discovery has been
made and that too by a woman in this
country. "Disease fastened its clutches
upon her and for seven years she with
stood itß severest tests, but her vital
organs were undermined and death
seemed imminent. For three months
she talked incessantly and could not
sleep. She finally discovered a way to
recovery by purchasing of us a bottle
of Dr. King's New Discovery for Con
sumption and was so much relieved on
taking first dose that she slept all night
and with two bottles has been abso
lutely cured. Her name is Mrs. Luther
Lutz." Thus writes W. C. Hamnick &
