The commanding naval officer of the United
States squadron in the Guil 9f Mexico to have

The rate of deinurraga asked per ton, custom
house mgasurement of the vessel, for each day's
detention over the lay days, must be stated in the
respective offers.
Persons who may be desirous to offer, are re
quested not to go beyond the 'quantity they can cer
tainly deliver ut the times which may he specified
in the arders, as no extension of time can ur will
be granted, and in all cases forfeitures will be rig
idly exacted.
Bonds, with two approved. sureties, will be re
quired in half the estimated amount of Os con
tract, and ten per cent, upl be deduced from all
