Taylor fOr the Presidency,' and chal lenged the "Union" to copy it, in retUrn - for which the "Whig" promised to Publish any other article that the "Onion" might se lect, provided it was not twice the length of the article of the "Whig." To which the ~ Union" agreed; but instead of chosing an ar ticle from its own columns, or froth a demo cratic paper, the editor turns back to the files of the "W hig of May 2L 1846, and chooses the following article, for re-insertion in the columns of 66 , "Whig."
