Railroad on Monday of last week was found eighty-five dollars. His fellow countrymen sent the amount to the dead man's wife in Italy and defrayed the burial expenses out of their own pockets. The residents of the Fourth ward were aroused from their slumbers about half past eleven Monday night by an alarm of tire. The blaze which was only a slight one was in the kitchen of Samuel Kemp's home on Fast Eighth street The general alarm was not sounded but the whistle of the Electric Light plant brought many people to the scene.
