He had resided in Catawissa for only about three weeks, having moved there irom Ashland, and had been ill only a few days. He was a victim of chronic rheumatism, and this with an attack of typhoid pneumonia caused his death. The surviving family consists of a daughter and two sons. The former is Mrs. C. J. In spite of the poor attendance the play was presented in full, and no part was slighted.
