Millions of butterflies are eaten
every year by the Australian abori
gines. The insects congregate iu
vast quantities on the rocks of the
Bugong mountains, and the natives
secure them by kindling fires of
damp wood and thus suffocating
them. Then they are gathered iu
baskets, baked, sifted to remove the
wings, and finally pressed into
cakes.

Pittston cancelled the game with
Normal on Saturday and the lovers
of the sport were again disappointed.
Normal has certainly been unfortu
nate with her schedules this year.
It either rains or else the teams at
the very last minute send word
that thjy cannot come. The game
which is scheduled for Saturday
will doubtless attract a large crowd.
The great rivalry which has exist

several years back is still alive a'td
as they are pretty evenly matched,
a battle royal may be expected.
