laborer on the Oliver Horn farm, north
of Lyons, while grubbing burdocks along
the road leading to Sod us Point unearth
ed 72 pieces of obi silverware marked
"P. I'ierson," "Hyde" nnd "A. M. nnd
M. J. Leach." News of the find spread,
the Hyde and I'ierson stuff being identi
fied as that stolen from the late Artemas
Hyde 50 years ago, while the Leach
stuff. was stolen less than ten yours ago.
The mystery is how the stuff stolen at
dates so vurying came to be in the same
place. It wns buried in u pile from six
inches to a foot deep at the base of a
hedge.

Manx Shipwrecks In May.

year, had an unusual record of marine
casualties. In all there were more than
150 disasters of various kinds, ranging
