Isaac K. Anpleman, died of heart
disease Friday evening at the home
of his daughter, Mrs. Millard Kest
er on East Third street, this town.
Only a few hours previous to death
Mr. Appleman had been brought by
his daughter from his home mid
way between Bloomsburg and Light
Street, where for several years he
had been living alone, in order that
she might give him proper care.
About seven o'clock there was an
apparent change for the worse in
his condition. Everything possible
was done to relieve his suffering,
but it was too late. In less than an
hour the fluttering spark of vitality
fled. Mr. Appleman was about
sixty-seven years of age. He was
highly respected by all who knew
him. His immediate survivors are
two children, the daughter above
named and B. K. Appleman who
resides in Cincinnati. He was a
brother of Mathias Appleman of
Iron street. The funeral occurred
Tuesday morning. Services were
held at the residence of Mrs. Millard
Kester. Interment was made in
Rosemont Cemetery.
