M., organized and proceeded to audit the accounts ot the above named officers. Af ter examining, correcting and restating th same from January 2nd, 1899 to January 1st. 1900, we do certify them to be correct. We have exercised our best Judgment In arriving at our conclusions, and have endeavored to discharge the duil?s of our office faithfully, and to llie best of our knowledge, and submit the above report. we find In arriving at amount In hands ot Treasurer at the beginning of the year 1891 statement should have read $6931.18 instead of $7040.37, there being the following Items omit ted : By amount making 27 deeds to county at $2.62, amounting to $70 74, and amount paid for advertising 77 tracts of land at 60 cents, amounting to $34.50. Total amount $1(0.24. These Items were allowed by the auditors ana not discovered by Treasurer until too late to appeal. This being a clerical error we are sit lsrted that the Treasurer Is Justly eutltled to the amount and have so allowed him.
