To all whom It may concern.
Whereas, on the lnth day of Mny, 1671. a cer
tain mortgage was executed and delivered by
Jacob Uarler to Stephen H. Swank, on a certain
messuage and tract or land, situate In Mifflin
township, Columbia County, Pennsylvania, the
first part adjoining lands of Jacob lions, Chris
tian llortung, T. II. Metier, T. J. Swank and
Elizabeth l.utz, containing forty acres and six-ty-three
perches, strict measure: the second
part, adjoining lands of Henry Heller, T. F.
Swank aud Jacob Hons, containing tlve acres,
strict measure, to secure the payment of a cer
tain mortgage and bond, dated May Htb, 1871,
for one thousand dollars, with legal Interest
thereon, Immediately after the death of Sarah
Brown, wld'iw of David Brown, which said
mortage Is recorded In the ortlce for the record

censed : that Stephen Illttenbender died, tes
tate, W. W. Everet being his executor, and
without having satisfied said mortgage.
And now, September i IH'jV, after reading

the Sheriff of Columbia eoui.ty Is directed to
serve a notice, stating the facts sot forth In said
petition, on the parties, or their legal repre
sentatives. If to be found In the county, aud If
the parties aforesaid cannot be found In said

said county, once a week, for four weeks, suc
cessively, prior to the next term of court., re
quiring the said parties to appear on thenrst
