A Ourious Story About Siams King.
A curious story reaches us from
Ceylon in connection with the King
of Siam's recent visit, says the West
minster Gazette. His majesty, with
all the devotion ot a pious Buddhist,
expressed a desire to see the tooth
relic in the Daladu Maligawa temple,
in Kandy, A royal reception was
accorded him. The King said his
prayers, and the priests went into
ecstacies over his presents of robes
and jewels. Everything went well un
til his majesty asked to be allowed to
handle the precious relic. Then the
high priest politely but firmly declin
ed. Royality might look, but royality
mightn't touch. Royality thereupon
returned to his carriage in a huff, and
his presents with him, to the no little
confusion of the over-zealous Un
nanse. Considering that the sacred
tooth was taken to Ceylon in a lady's
hair, surely a King might touch it.

There is one person of whom every

of himself.
Success, like a lung-testing machine,
is valuable only as it measures

multiply their wrongs.
A man with two faces, never needs

In war at this day, men think more
of the chances of victory than the
justice of the cause. Ham's Horn.
After meals you should have simply
a feeling of comfort and satisfaction.
You should not feel any special indi
cations that digestion is going on. If
you do, you have digestion, which
means wodigestion. This may be
the beginning of so many dangerous
diseases, that it is best to take it in
hand at once and treat it with Shaker
Digestive Cordial. For you know that
indigestion makes poison, which causes
pain and sickness. And that Shaker
Digestive Cordial helps digestion and
cures indigestion. Shaker Digestive
Cordial does this by providing the di
gestive materials in which the sick
stomach is wanting. It also tones up
and strengthens the digestive organs
and makes them perfectly healthy.
This is the rationale of its method of
cure, as the doctors would say. Sold
by druggists, price 10 cents to $1.00
per bottle.
