William Elliot, of Philadelphia, is vis iting his brother, Robert Elliot, on Fourth Street. He is favorably impressed with the appearance of our town. Alexander, who has secured a position as car inspecter at Philadelphia, has moved to that place, and his family will join him in a few days. He is a first class mechanic and deserves the sucess he has attained. I. G. Deiferich is putting in a parti tion and making other improvements to his store room on Market Square. Monday was pension day, and clerk Quick was busy all day filling out the papers, The service at the Baptist Church next Sunday evening will be changed to 7 o'clock.
