The citizens of Danville are acit.it-
, . o
ing the question whether the curbstone
VnarKet is Deneiicial or detrimental to
the Town. The newspaners devote
considerable space to the discussion
of the question.
The Democratic Countv Committee
and all of its auxilliary organizations
should immediately begin active work
throughout the county for the purpose
of bringing out, in November, the larg
est possible vote for every candidate
on the Democratic ticket.
Hardly has Gen. Harrison cot com
fortably settled on his return to his
fellow-lioosiers in Indianapulis when
the city goes Democratic by a sur
prising majority, Such is the some
times ingratitude of American munic
ipalities.
The Democrats in the countv
should all turn out to the polls on
November stn anil give an old-time
rousing majority. There are at least two
thousand of a majority in the county
according to the pool books, and it
should not be much of a task for every
Democrat to cast his vote when the
time comes. A cood. bin majority
this Fall will strengthen the ticket in
'96, when we will elect the next Pres
ident.
