There is a greater scarcity of butter
at this season than has ever ucen
known. Some of our "oldest citizens'
attribute it to the excessively co'd
winter that exhausted the feed supply,
and the backward spring, which pre
vents cattle from crazing. A few weeks
of warm weather will soon bring out
the grass, and an abundance of butter
will follow.
