The tommissioners of Montour County have decided upon the plans for the new jail to be erectea there The plan which has met the favor of the Commissioners was the work of John H. Brugler, and includes a mod em sheriff's residence, with a twenty cell-iail. The present jail is an antiquated af fair, and is so insecure that prisoners have been sent either to E'oDmsburg or Sunbury for safe keeping.
