There was published in tho Roches
ter Democrat and Chronicle of the
31st of December, a statement made by
J! R. Henion M. D narrating how he
had been cured of Bright's disease of
the Kidneys, almost in its last stagci.

was referred to in that statement, as
having recommended and urged Dr.
Henion to try tho remedy, which he
did, and was ourcd. The statement of
Dr. Henion is true,so far as it concerns
myself,and I believe it to bo truo in all
othcrrespects Ho was a parishioner of
mine and I visit'd him in his sickness.
I urged him to tako the medicine and
would do tbo same again to any one
who was troubled with a disease of the
kidneys and liver.

Everett Farnham died at Richfield,
Ohio, recently at tho acre of eichtv
four. He was the lamest land owner
in tho county, and was exceedingly co-
centric He called his lands his do-
mains. On his farm was a large tract
of meadow land which ho called "God's
Heart."., and of t us betook esDecial
care. He was a great admirer of Eng
land and British customs, anion a recent
visit to London undertook to defend to
tho Britishers in tho htreets tho adyan
tagea of republicanism, and was arrest
ed and bned.
In clearing land lie would never burn
his brush, but placid it in piles nnd al
lowed it to rot. He was an avowed in-
fidel, and had a largo library of books
treating on infidelity. Four or five of
his acres were enclosed as a park, in
which ho kppt deer, elk nnd bultalo.
