tennial letter of hi-t week, lcferring to the open
ing of the Kxhibition on Sunday, was ni.ulo the
text for a discourse from tho pulpit of one of
our churches last Sablulh. Among other tilings,
the gentleman said that tho argument of the
writer in tho Coi.uhiiian in favor of opening
he grounds was that it would prevent the guards
fim playing cauls. A careful perusal of our
letter will show that the manner in which the
employees pasj their time on Sunday i.s given
0110 of the results of closing the Kxhihition.
If our information i.s correct our language was
