It must bo confessed that Job kept
his temper remarkably well under very
considerable provocations. But Job
never had tho strain upon his nerves
of seeing squad after equad of savages,
freah from murdering and robbing his
countrymen, brought to tho seat of
government and instead of being
promptly hanged, curried, palavered,
loaded with gifts, and mado drunk at
