ticularizo. There was a freshness and air of
otiginalily in all the parts, especially was
this the caw, in tho essays read by two young
ladies, on tho subject, "Our Ilcpublic," and
Doors. Prof Hainan s lecture was listen
ed to with wrapt interest, and was a decided
success. Wo then adjourned to Dinner at 1.
In regard to this part of tho proceedings,
