statement thai Mr. Hlilvo came within
three votes of being, elected to the
Council. In fact ho was thirty-seven
votes behind tho lowest candidate
chosen. It blathers about the defeat of
an Imaginary "ring," meaning by that
term tno democrats concerned in mak
ing tho Saturday ovenlng nominations.
Butevery eaudidato for Council named
by that meeting was elected, and tho
general result Is that tho Council stands,
