matter of tho utmost Importance, as
their duties this year will bo unusually
important In view of tho approaching
1'rcsldcntlul contest. The Convention,
appreciating this fact, selected our bent
men, and our most consistent Demo
crats, and the organization of the party
will rest in their hands In safety for one
year. John A. Funston, the Chairman,
is a gentleman well known In tho Coun

who will give ids time to the perfection
of our organization.
With the cessation of the extremely
hot weather, building operations in
llloomsburg nro being pushed forward

Building is progressing rapidly; tho

laid with commendable speed. Ground

extension nears completion more
