ihe ret Tilt is that I hare cot a borer m my
orchard, and the trees harecoinpkteij reco*-
ored, and gire ma abundant crops.
f hare bean using this remedy for three
jf.%Tt and it has well repaid me for the
lab ft required : and I think I ran recom
nieri'i rt confidently to my brother farmer?,
who will first carefully remove the borer,
ar,d properly apply H, say twice a year after
wards.
It will be seren rears this spring since I
planted fire apple trees. Three of the five
were attacked by the borer, killing onn. and
the other two looked rery sickly. ( removed
the worm*, and upon the remaining four used
the iriae freely; they recovered end bors
iaat seaaon rery fine fruit.
lhree years ago the coming spring, I plan
led thirty-six apple trees, and at once applied
the B'ine copiously, and there is not, to my
knowledge, a single borer in the whole of
them; beside they have grown and look re
markably well. Some of my neighbor* who
planted trees at the same time, obtained at
the good nursery, complain of the depreda
tions of the borer-
