Aver's Sarsaparilla
A compound remedy, in which vre hare la.
j bored to produce the' most effectual alterative
that can be made. It is a concentrated extract
of Para Sarsaparilla, o combined with other
substances of still greater alterative power as
to afford an effective antidote for the disease#
Sarsaparilla is reputed to cure. It is believed
that such a remedy is wanted by those who
suffer from Strumous complaints, and that one
which will accomplish their cur*.mu t prove
of immense service to this large class of our
affi ctcd fellaw-citizens. llow completely this
compound will do it ha been proven by exper
iment on many of the worst eases to be found
of the following complaints:— _

i on Sr. Axtuoxt's Fiuf., and indeed the whole
cl.e - of eoutplaints arising from 1.-ti-uaiir or
the Blood.
This compound will bo found a great pro
mot- r of health, w hen taken in the spring, to
expel the lbul humois which fester in the
bloi.d at that season of the year. By the time
j ly cxpui-iou of jhein many rankling disorders
are nippc I in the bud. Multitudes can, by
the aid of this remedy, spare themselves from
the endurance ot lbul eruptions and ulcerous
wies through which the system will strive to
rid itself of corruptions, if not assisted to do
this through the natural channels of the body
by an alterative medicine. Cleanse out the
vitiated blood whenever you find its impurities
bursting through the skin in pimples, eruptions,
or sores; cleanse it when you find it is ob
structed and sluggish in the veins; cleanse it
whenever it is foul, and your feelings w ill tell
you when. Eve t where no particular disorder
; is felt, people enjoy liettcr health, and live
longer, for cleanaing the blood. Keep the
b! 1 healthy, and all is well; hut with this
pabulum of life disordered, thero can be no
la-ting health. Sooner or later something
mu-t go wrong, and the great machinery of
life is disordered or overthrown.
Sarsaparilla has, and deserves much, the
reputation, of accomplishing these ends. Hut
thj world has been egregiou.-ly deceived by
preparations of it, partly because the drug
alone has not all the virtue that is claimed
for it, but more because many preparations,
! pretending to be concentrated extracts ot it,
| contain but little of the virtue of tSarsaparilla,
or any thing else.
During late years the public have been mis
led by large Lotries, pretentiing to give a quart
of Extract of Sarsaparilia for one dollar. Most
) of these have Ixeu frauds upon the sick, for
they not only contain little, if any, Fsn-apa
riila, but often no curative properties whatev
er. Hence, bitter :.nd I'.ainfni disappointment
has followed the use of the various extracts of
Saivparilla which flood the market, until the
name itself i* justly despised, and has become
synonymous with imposition and cheat. Still
j we call this compound Sarsaparilla, cr.d intend
to supply such a remedy as -hall rescue the
j name from the load of oblequy which rests
upon it. And we think we have ground for
believing it has virtues which arc irresistible
by the ordinary run of the diseases it is intend
ed to cure. In order to secure their complete
j eradication from the system, the remedy eliould
be judlcisusly taken according to dnectioLS on
} the bottle.
