It was al so moved and carried that no persona under fourteen years of age be received as members of the Institute, and none but members admitted to its sessions. The exer cises for that evening will bo announced in the mean time. . - Three Men Drowned.--inides McCarty 'and two brothers, named McDonald, were drowned in the' lsitonlng river, in the pool or elackwater, about mite and a quarter above Lowell, on Friday (May let), about three o'clock. They lived at Mt. Nebo, had gone to Lowell In a &tall skiff and were on their re turn. They were all more or less intoxicated and by their unsteady motions causei the boat to dip and fill,.when she went down and they with her.
