Miss Mary G. Foster is in a very
serious condition, having been
stricken with paralysis last winter
while in Florida, and for the past
few weeks has been rapidly failing.
Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Haines, of
Akron, Ohio, and Mr. and Mrs.
‘Elmer Weaver and children, of Mif-
past flinburg, were week-end guests at the
home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs.
John Haines.
J. H. Crouse and brother, H E.
Crouse, drove to Akron, Ohio, to at-
tend the funeral of their cousin, N.
Clayton Wyle, who, with his family,
which in fact was their birthplace.
Mrs O. J. Auman, who had been a
patient, several days, in the Lewis-
town hospital, where she had
of her second finger on her right
hand amputated, is home and get-
ting along as well as can be expect-
ed.
The sudden death of Warren Hos-
terman, Friday night, was a great
shock to his family and the coun-
munity, as he had been seemingly
as well as usual. The family have
our deepest sympathy in this trying
hour.
Mrs. Thomas Hull had as recent
guests Mrs. C. C. Bell and son, Earl
Bell, and her grand-son, Charles
Bell; her daughter, Mrs. F. B Pat-
ton, J. W. Adams and daughter,
Mrs. Helen Holder and son, John
Robert, all of Huntingdon, and Mr.
Bouldinghouse, of Harrisburg.
Mr and Mrs. Cyrus Bower and
daughter, Mrs Doyle Best and two
children, spent Mouday afternoon of
last week in State College. Wed-
nesday Mrs. Bower, accompanied by
the Misses Cunningham, drove to
Danville where they spent the day
with Mr. and Mrs. Byron Case.
Rev. and Mrs. G. H. Fred Griesing
had as recent guests Mr. Griesing's
cousin, Mrs Roland Richards and
daughter Eleanor, and Mrs. Rich-
ard’'s sister-in-law, Miss Ethel Rich-
ards, all of Hazleton. Jay Gutelius
and two daughters, of Nanticoke,
were also recent guests at the par-
sonage.

the appropriation of Six Thousand Dol-
lars per annum to be _jutd monthly in
payments of Five undred Dollars
each, to be applied to the assumption
and payment of. & certain Mortgage on’
said Premises.
WHEREAS, the Borough of Bellefonte,
on the First day of July, A. D. 1929,
entered into a certain article of agree-
ment with the Bellefonte Realty Company |
for the rental of certain real estate, more
fully described in a certain deed from |
N. E. Spangler and wife to the Bellefonte
Realty Company, recorded in Centre
County in Deed Book Vol. 141, page 1565;
AND WHEREAS, under sald agree-
ment, it was provided that said Borough
could pu said real estate from said
Realty Company, at any time, within a
po of twenty (years by the assump-
tion of the lien indebtedness against the
same;
AND WHEREAS, the said Bellefonte
Realty Company, on the first day of July,
A. D. 1929, made, executed and deliver-
ed to the Bellefonte Trust Company of
Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, a certain mort-
gauge, recorded in the office for the re-
cording of deeds in and for Centre
County, Pennsylvania, on the 30th da
of August A. D. 1929, in Mortgage Boo
Vol. 56 e 381, as Trustee, for the
hoiders of certain bonds issued and sold
in pursuance to the provisions of said
mortgage;
AND WHEREAS, there are

SECTION I: NOW THEREFORE, be it
ORDAINED and ENACTED by the Bor-
ough of Bellefonte, at a regular meeting
of council, and it is hereby ORDAINED
and ENACTED, by the authority of the
same, that the said Borough purchase
from the Bellefonte Realty Company, the
real estate owned by said Company, and
more specifically described in a certain
deed, herein above referred to, and
afress to Ra) therefor the sum of THIR-
THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOL-
LARS, as the purchase price therefor,
which said sum is represented by cer-
tain bonds issued in ursuance of a
mortgage given by the
Company, to the Bellefonte Trust Com-
pany, of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, as
rustee, for the holders of bonds, issued
in pursuance of said mortgage.
SECTION II: That there is hereby
appropriated and set aside, so much of

Borough, out of the operation of its
plant, not otherwise necessary for said
purpose as will amount to SIX THOU-
D DOLLARS, per year, to be ap-
plied to the payment of the above stated
mortgage by monthly payments of Five
Hundred Dollars each, which said pay-
ments are hereby authorized and directed
to be made by the Borough Treasurer
to the Bellefonte Trust Company, Trus-
tee under said mortgage. It is further
provided that, if at any time, there shall |
not be sufficient income from the water °
plant of said Borough, after the payment
of all operating expenses to meet said
monthly Een of FIVE HUNDRED
DOLLA each, that any deficiency shall
be paid out of the general funds of said
Borough, from time to time. The month-
ly payments to be made to the Bélle-
fonte Trust Company, as herein above
stated, until the said mortgage, principal
and interest, has been paid in full, ac-
cording to the terms thereof.
SECTION III: That the purchase of
said real estate by the Borough of Belle- |
fonte, is necessary in the operation of
its water works, and by becoming the
owner of said premises, the right of the |
Bellefonte Trust Company, as Trustee,
for the mortgage bond holders, as to the
application of the purchase money hereby
agreed to be paid to it, shall not in any
manner cancel or invalidate the appropri-
ation of said payments by the Bellefonte
Trust Company, to interest or principal
of said mortgage, as provided in the
agreement between the llefonte Realty
Company and the Borough of Bellefonte,
dated July 1st, A. D. 18929, and recorded
in the ol for the Recording of Deeds,
etc., in and for Centre County, Pennsyl-
vania, in Mis. Book Vol. "Y” ge B87.
That all of the provisions of sald agree-
ment, sc far as the same are not incon-
sistent, by reason of the acquisition of
title by said Borough of said premises
shall remain in force until the payment |
in full of said mortgage. |
SECTION IV: That all ordinances or
any provisions thereof inconsistent here-
under, are hereby repealed.
