Mrs. Mary Wright has moved into
the Smith house.
Elmer Roller, who has been on the
sick list for several weeks, is improv-
ing slowly.
Jonathan and James Ammerman,
of near Geneva, N. Y., are visiting
their father, Alfred Ammerman.
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Stonebraker, of
Osecola Mills, were over Sunday visi-
tors at the home of William Sum-
mers.
Mrs. Medie Stere is on a motor trip
with her son Hassell and family, vis-
iting places of interest in New York
State.
Miss Charlotte Stere left, on Mon-
day, for Mount Union, where she is
employed as teacher of one of the
schools.
Quite a number of boys and girls
from the township and borough
started to Bellefonte High school
Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Hall and
daughters, Dorothy and Elsie, attend-
ed the Green reunion, at Runville, on
Monday.
Mrs. Lizzie Hogan and Mrs. Clara
Leathers attended the funeral of Al-
phonso Loughrey, in Bellefonte, Tues-
day morning.
Mrs. Sallie Craig and son James
and wife, of McKeesport, were visi-
tors, last Thursday, at the home of
John Askins.
Mrs. Emma McDonnell, of Port-
ville, N. Y.,, and her sister, Mary
Woleslagle, of Altoona, are visiting
friends and relatives here.
Mr. and Mrs. Orvin Askins and
family of six interesting children, of
Pittsburgh, were week-end visitors at
the home of his brother, J. S. Askins.
Mrs. Maggie Morrison and 3on
Laird and wife, of Altoona, and Mrs.
Ella Lindenmuth, of Tyrone, were vis-
itors among friends here on Monday.
Mrs. Flora Lucas, who was taken
to the Centre County hospital last
eek, for observation, returned home
Arday evening, somewhat improv-
ed.
Charles Keatley, who is employ=d
in Pittsburgh, is taking a vacation now
and visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
David Keatley, also visiting relatives
in Harrisburg.
Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Parsons re-
turned, Monday night, from a few
days visit with his brother and wife,
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Parsons, of
Vandegrift, Pa.
Mrs. Arvilla Adams, of Wilkins-
burg, spent several days here last
week visiting friends and also look-
ing after her property which she is
offering for sale.
Tuesday evening L. Frank Wetzler,
of Milesburg, met with a number of
our young folks at the borough hall
to organize an orchestra which will be
under his direction.
Abednego Williams, and her cousin,
who have been residents of Colorado
for several years, and visited during
the summer with relatives here, start-
ed for home on Monday.

Quite a number from here attend-
ed the band concert at Milesburg, on
Sunday.
Donald Stover, employed at Union-
town, spent last week at home with
his parents.
Fletcher Wolf has returned home
after spending some time with his
son, at Warren.
Mrs. Willard Emenhizer took a load
of the band boys to the Ebensburg
fair, on Monday.
George Robb and family were in
Altoona, on Sunday, attending the
funeral of Mr. Robb’s aunt.
Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Lee and son Or-
vis, and Miss Lillian Chadsey, motox-
ed to Tusseyville on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. David Behrer, of
State College, were Sunday visitors
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson
Yeakley.
Vistors at the Charles King home
during the week included Mr. and
Mrs. Clyde Cox and nephew, of
McKeesport; Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Stringfellow and son and Mrs. Sheri-
dan White, of Lock Haven; Mr. and
Mrs. Hardman Gray and daughter, of
Milesburg, and Rev. and Mrs. Ganga-
ware, of Port Matilda.

a. m., under the “Corporation Act of 1874,”
of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,
and its supplements thereto, for the char-
ter of an intended corporation, to be call-
ed the, “Mountain Top Fire Company,”
the character and object of which is to
maintain an organization for the purpose
of protection against fire of the build-
ings situated in the Southern end of Rush
Township, Centre County, and to possess
and enjoy all the rights, benefits, and
privileges of the said Act of Assembly and
its supplements.
Proposed charter is now on file in Pro-
thonotary’s office.
