The president, Mr. Gilbert, of Tyrone, entertained the association at dinner at Hewitt’s cafe after which a business meeting was held. The main speakers were C. R. Gearhart, State College, “Value of Testing;” E. R. Burkett, Warriors- Mark, “Value of Balanced Rations and Cropping System.” J. W. Mayes, How- ard, “Salesmanship.” The members feel that Mr. Shane, the field man, is giving very valuable assistance to the Guernsey breeders after the comple- tion of the first year, and from a busi- ness standpoint every man interested in the Guernsey cow should be a mem- ber of the association.
