the grand jury and six on the traverse

The D. K. Keller family is enjoying
a few days outing in their car.

her vacation with her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. D. A. Boozer.
Mr. and Mrs. Elliott Smith, of
Pittsburgh, are spending some time at
the home of their parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Brungart are
entertaining their two daughters, Mrs.
Getschell and Mrs. Kieffer.
One of our crochet circles, the Clo-
ver Club, enjoyed a picnic at Hairy
John’s on Monday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burris and
daughter Mary Catherine visited Mr.
Burris’ mother several days last week.
Miss Ethel Rowe is the happy own-
er of a new Ford coupe, which she us-
es to travel to and from Millheim
every day.
Dr. Stubbs and wife, of Lancaster,
spent a short time in Centre Hall on
Saturday, on their auto tour covering
a number of counties in the State.
Rev. M. C. Drumm, accompanied by
Dr. Yearick, went to the Bellefonte
hospital on Monday, where he sub-
mitted to an operation on his tonsils.
On Saturday afternoon Milton
Bradford was unfortunate enough to
get in the way of Mrs. Savilla Fore-
man’s car and was knocked down and
dragged quite a distance. No bones
i broken, but he was badly bruis-
ed.
Miss Tillie Keller, our efficient as-
sistant postmistress, left for a week’s
auto trip with Mr. and Mrs. J. A.
Kramer, of State College. They were
going direct to Bath, Northumberland
county, and from there to Atlantic
City, Philadelphia and other points of
interest. :
Over a hundred people gathered at
Grange Park on Saturday as repre-
sentatives of the Lohr family. Among
those from a distance were J. H. Lohr
and wife, of Rutledge, and son, Wil-
liam S. Lohr and wife and two daugh-
ters, Dorothy and Audrey, of Easton.
They remained until Thursday, visit-
ing with friends.
