Church Services Next Sunday.
FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
“We Aim to Serve.”
Lord’s day services—9:40 Bible-
school with classes for all ages. 10:45
morning worship, sermon theme, “The
Church on the Hill of Galilee.” Also
a message to the Junior congrega-
tion. Parents are urged to send their
children to this service. The pastor is
aiming to help you, help your chil-
dren in spiritual matters. Do you
want young people in the church? If
so, get them started as children In the
habit of church attendance. Evening
worship 7 p. m. to 7:45 on the chapel
lawn. Sermon theme, «A Little
Farther.” Remember the hour! Here
is the chance to be cool without being
criticized! :
Every Wednesday evening of this
month the pastor will speak on the
general theme of «The History and
Accomplishments of the Presbyterian
Church.” Here is an opportunity to
learn some of the facts concerning
your own denomination.
Special Note.—The question is oft-
en asked, “Is the Bellefonte Presby-
terian church supported by pew
rents? Ans. The seats are all free.
Families occupy particular pews by
courtesy and for convenience and be-
cause of long association. The church
is supported by the free-will offerings
of all the people through the weekly
Duplex envelopes (one pocket of
which is for local support and the oth-
er for the support of all the work of
the denomination, outside of the local
field. All are welcome. Acousticon

METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH
The pastor will speak on two very
interesting subjects next Sunday. A
timely one for 10:45 on “The Fisher-
man’s Failure and Success,” and one
full of hope at 7:30 on “The Soul’s
Four Anchors.” Epworth League at
6:30.
Good interest is maintained in the
Sunday school at 9:30 and a hearty
welcome for all. The Bible study will
continue on Wednesday evenings at
7:30.
