el on Wednesday evening, Dec. 27th,
at 7 o'clock. The cantata, “An Amer-
ican Santa Claus,” will be rendered
on that occasion. All are cordially in-

Reformed Church.
Christmas services will be held in
St. John’s Reformed church as fol-

dicted that the kill this year would
be the largest in a long time, and so
it has proven. From the most reliable
reports we have been able to get there
were just 174 deer and 15 bears killed
during the season. The best hunting
was in the Seven mountains where
106 deer and 7 bears were slaughter-
ed. Some eight or ten does were kill-
ed and left lie in the woods, most of
them being spoiled when found. Only
one accident occurred, so far as
known. A. R. Sholter, of Harrisburg,
while hunting near Coburn, fell over
some rocks, his gun was discharged
and he got a rifle ball through his
right hand. Only one deer was gotten
by a Bellefonte party, and that was
the Gentzell crowd. It was shot by
Frank S. Knecht. The complete list
of deer killed so far as we have been
able to get the reports, and we be-
lieve it to be full and accurate is as
follows:
