Liao Yang Hears the Japanese Forced a Passage on
Monday Night.

m. )—I¢ is believed in military circles that
the Japanese have commenced a movement
to cross the Yalu river. It isalso reported
that the movement has been frustrated.

from the commander of the Vlodivostok
squadron, confirming the reports of the
Pittsburg.........

plant at McKeesport closed to-day. throw-
