The Madisonburg burglars, who were in Mr. Kline's store, on Sunday night, took about one hundred dollars worth of goods. Prof. Thomas Auman, who is teaching the Woodward school, came home last Saturday evening with the mumps, and is unable to take charge of his school this week. Hon. Willis R. Bierly, who was busily en- gaged in the campaign work at Williamsport, is visiting at the old home for a few weeks. He has been hunting, but so far has shot only two squirrels. Mr. and Mrs. Abner Wolf, who have been a St. Louis, Mo., for some years, are home to visit Mrs. Wolf's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bair, at Rebersburg. All are glad to see them back.
