8, 1854, you are hereby notified to meet in con-
vention, at the Court House in Bellefonte, on the

majority of the whole number of directors pre-
sent, one person of literary and scientific acquire-
ments, and of skill and experience in the art of
teaching, as County Superintendent, for the three
succeeding years, and certify the result to the
State Su rintendent, at Harrisburg, as required
by the thirty-ninth and fortieth sections of said
act.
