--The Centre County Teacher.' In
stitute, which will be hell in Reynolds's
opera home, in this place, beginning on
Monday the 211th instaqt, bids fair to be
largely attended. This is as it• should
be, and we hope to see every teacher in
the county present. School directors
should be careful to allow the teachers
the time to attend the Institute, without
requiring them to make it up, as it is as
much for the benefit of the pupils as In
stcucters The Superintendent is anx
ious to hove all the teachers in the coun
ty present, anti has•takon great pains to
present an attractive ■nd instructive
programme. Able and entertaining
lectures and addresses will be delivered,
and the occasion promises to be a very
pleasant and profitable one. For the
sake of the educational cause, we trust
that no obstacles may be thrown in the
way of the comelete success of the Ineti•
tuts this year.
