DR. IseACs.—We had the pleasure of
meeting yesterday, for the first titne, the
celebrated oculist and aurist, Dr. L:
Isaacs, of Philadelphia, who comes hero
highly recommended not only by the
newspapers, but by private letter to us.
'rho Doctor is a graduate of Leyden,
Holland, and has had the advantage of
nineteen years practice in his profession,
fifteen of which have been in this coun
try. He operates entirely on diseases
of the eye And ear, and his success has
been wonderful. We think there is no
doubt of his skill and judge that our
people may put entireconfidence in him.
The Doctor prinnises to stay in Belle
fonte until July, ..9th, at the Brockerhoff
House, for, the purpose of affording our
citizens an opportunity to consult him,
and those who are in any way afflicted
by diseases of the eye or ear had better
call at once. Becomes hero direct from
Lock Haven, where he has been opera
ting for the last 'month, and isispiikevi
of in the highest terms.- The Genevii
Cbut-ier has the following notice of pi l e
