grown boy that was with her, she said

York city, who proceeded to address the
people on the general issues of the cam
phign, eliciting 'throughout his speech
much iipplamai and decided manifesta
tions of approval. ttr Cottri I confined
himself prineipally to the discussion of
the Negro S.drrage issue, treating the
subject in a familiar way that showed tie
-understood it, and brought it hums to
the comprehension of the dullest man in
theaudience. lie also indulged in some
amusing hits at the pro.nmt national ad
