ser, on Monday evening, on education. We
had the good fortune to hear the last four
lectures of the regular course, but missed
the first two, and the last one on education,
we were particularly desirous to
heat. Under those circumstances, we do
not feel Justified nor competent to enter into
a criticism of the lecturer or his. subject.

one, and we really thought the lecturer did
it ample jostles. Poisibly, we me; know
nothing about it, but we will run the risk
of being called a "Jenkine," and say that
we considered his conceptione• grand, hie
ideas luminous. and his logic, irresistible.

not prove by the light of reason and common
