liberty-loving citizens of Centro county, to
a most flagrant outrage recently perpetra
ted on the person of one of our most respect
able citizens. On the tst instant, two' men
from Bellefonte, holding or claiming to hold
the offices of Governmenment Deteedives,
(in plain words "spy"), and Deputy Pro
vost Marshal stopped here, having iu their
custody three or tour penult's, reputed tie
sorters. Mr. John Stoner, a Viet and es
