dom of choice, swell persons on conviction, shrill
ho fined in any sum not exceeding five hundred
dollars, lie imprisoned for any time not less than
one month, nor More than ono year, and, it
shall be shown to tho court where the trial of
such offence shall be had, that the person so of
fending was not a resideit of the city, ward, dis
trict, or township, where the said offence was
committed, and not entitled to vote therein, then
on conviction, he shall be sentenced to pay a
fine of not loss than oho hundred dollars, nor
more than one thousand dollars, and imp r is o ned
not less than six months, nor more than two
