Section, First Article.of the amended Constitu-
tion of the State of Pennsylvania, and the First
Section of the Act of the General Assembly, pass
ed the First day of June, 1839, the undersigned,
citizens of the Commoawealth of Pennsylvania,
hereby give notice that they intend to make ap-
plication to the Legislature of said State, at its
next session. commencing the first Tuesday of
January, 1863, for the charter of a Bank, to be
located in the borough of Bellefonte, in the coun-
ty of Centre. and State aforesaid, to be called the
+ BEELEFONTE BANK,” the capital stock there-
of to be One Hundred Thousand Dollars, with the
“privilege of increasing it to Two Hundred Thous-
and Dollars : and the specific object for which the
proposed Corporation is to be chartered is to trans-
act the usual and legitimate business of a Bank
of Issue, Discount. Deposit and Exchange.
