AN ADJOURN ED COURT was held in this
place dui ing last week, the lion Judge Tay
lor, of Huntingdon, and Associate Burch
field and Barnhart, on the Bench. A large
number of cases on the civil list wore dis•
posed of The Judge appeared to render
himself perfectly familiar with the duties of
his position, and has left a very favorable
opinn.n on the inifidirEif the people in regard
to his permanent qualifications for the high
position. Attendance during the week was
rather slim.

town a flying visit on Wednesday last. The
