the upper end of our county was visited by
one of the most violent and disastrous
storms of hail and rain ever witnessed in
this region of country. We aro informed by
personywho traveled over the road since the
storm, that the beautitul farnfirand private
dwellings, from the residence of P. B. Wad
dle, on nutlet° Run, to Centro Line, is de
vastated beyond anything that the most
credulous would believe. The roof is blown
off the barn of Peter Murray, the born of
Samuel Litzel is entirely destroyed, and the
tine new barn of Isaac. Gray, Jr., moved one
foot oft the foundation. The splendid cher
ry, and other fruit trees, thai grew along the
read, as beautiful and useful ornaments, are
prostrated, while the foroftt trees ore stripped
